We are very excited to open a new position within Kit Radar.

This job is perfect for content marketeers looking for an exciting job at the cutting edge of sport.

It is the perfect position for someone who wants to get their hands dirty, roll up their sleeve and publish a LOT of content. 

Not much writing involved, more editing and distribution.

Essentially our content specialist will:

  • Be in contact regularly with 100's startup sports brands
  • Edit and upload Founder stories and tech-bites written by the Founders, or experts in the field
  • Work out a clear, repeatable process for content management / distribution
  • Actively distribute content across all channels

Our ideal candidate is someone obsessed with sports and technology, knowledgeable in SEO / social media (desired but not critical), is creative, thoughtful and wants to be an integral part of a team and fast growing startup.

You will:

  1. Assist our Directors in building and growing our sports equipment platform through promoting new & innovative sports gear content.
  2. Learn how to edit and manage compelling content that will be shared through social media.
  3. Assist our Directors in building relationships with key brands.
  4. Assist our Directors in creating a compelling website filled with engaging sports products  
  5. Plenty of additional opportunities in related projects.

An example task:

  1. You will talk with an interesting sports brand after being guided by one of our Directors
  2. You will edit and upload a compelling short story about the brand for our website
  3. You pick out short snippets from the story and post links across our channels from that blog piece

What We Require:

  1. A passion for sport!
  2. Strong communication skills.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office.
  4. Organised.
  5. Creative and Flexible.
  6. Familiarity with social networking sites

Successful candidates will be offered a part- or full-time job (to be negotiated, but a minimum of 30 hours required a week) following a 3 month probation period.

Salaries: £20k - £25k negotiable depending on experience

Location: Regular days in the office in Oxford required in the first 3 to 6 months, but over time the job can be flexible, as calls, meetings, outputs can all be completed online. However, daily Skype or meetings required. 

Perks: Our suppliers often give us samples to trial before listing. All trial samples we get to keep; this can be gps devices, sports watches and other fantastic wearables. As a member of our team, you too will get to keep the devices you trial.
