Innovation X, from the USA have designed the Repair Rebel.What makes this multi-tool design so unique is it moves away from the swiss army style design commonly seen in the cycling world today. This multi-tool not only looks sleek but it has been designed to fit snugly under your bike seat, in a saddle bag, or strapped to a backpack. It could be your life saver when you are out on your next long ride.
Like most multi-tools it is designed to help get you get out of most minor mechanical trouble and give you the peace of mind while cycling that you have things covered. All good multi-tools should include allen and torx keys required for modern bikes, along with the relevant screwdriver heads. The Repair Rebel has all these in abundance!
We managed to catch up with the founder and inventor of Repair Rebel, Thomas Smafield to find out a little bit more about the product.
Can you summarise the benefits of the product for our readers?
The Repair Rebel is a light weight alternative to carrying multiple tools on the ride. With 20 features the Repair Rebel is ready to take-on your common mid-ride adjustments without being a burden to carry.
So what features does the RepairRebel include:
- Metric Hex Wrenches: 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 15mm
- Imperial Hex Wrenches: 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch.
- Hex Heads: 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm
- Screwdriver heads: Phillips head, flat head, t25
How is the product manufactured?
The Repair Rebel is cast from Stainless Steel and its compact lets you carry it easily. The finish that we offer is Nickel coating and the product weighs just 120 grams, which is considerably lighter than most multi-tools out there.
